Product Description

• The Byson Sliding Meat Rail Kit is the perfect modular, easy to install DIY solution for ceiling mounted meat hanging applications
• Includes everything you need right out of the box
• Ideal for meat processing, transfer from loading areas / kill rooms to walk in coolers, as well as storage in walk in coolers / cold rooms or refrigerated trailers (reefers) for mobile butchers / meat transport
• Perfect for all kinds of meat including beef, goat, lamb, deer, elk, etc. for butchers, hunters, homesteaders and more
• Supports 400-500lb load (evenly distributed) per 2 Support Clamp Sets over a 32" section

  • Anodized Aluminum, 0.20in thick 
  • 1.57in Height × 2.05in Width 
  • 10ft Kits: 1x 3.25ft piece + 1x 6.5ft piece supplied  
• Byson Channel Support Clamp Sets, stainless steel (quantity per kit varies by rail length)
  • Kits include two end Support Clamp Sets with Stop Chain, plus additional Standard Rail Support Clamp Sets as required by Channel Rail length
  • Installed at join points of successive Channel Rails, the Support Clamp Sets enable a modular approach to connect multiple kits and build longer systems 
• Hardware (optional)
  • For mounting Support Clamps
  • Includes 5/16" threaded rod 1x 10", 1x lock nut, 1x square plate washer, 1x hex nut, and 1x penny washer (per Clamp)  
• Byson Single or Double Sliding Channel Pointed Meat Hooks, stainless steel (optional)
  • Standard Length (7.25"), typically for 7-8' ceilings
  • Long Length (19"), typically for 9-10' ceilings

Setup tips for optimal sliding

Sliding performance comes down to a rail that’s truly level and flush at every joint. Always check from the bottom face of the rail itself.

• Level the rail lengthwise and crosswise. Even slight slopes or twists matter
• Make every joint flush, with no gaps or lips
• Keep brackets loose until everything is aligned, then tighten and recheck
• Test-slide a hook before loading. If it catches, recheck alignment
• Still not gliding freely? A light coat of food-grade silicone usually fixes it
