Installation Guidance

  1. Measure neck size of access panel
  2. Cut hole on wall +5mm larger than neck size
  3. Remove the door from the panel frame
  4. Fit the frame to the hole, and secure in place temporarily (eg using a clamp)
  5. Fix frame to the drywall easily by drilling drywall screws through the frame directly into the drywall. Recommended to install minimum 1 screw per side. Screws not included     
  6. Replace the door on the frame
  7. For applications where panel is to match the surrounding wall, finish the door as with normal drywall finishing, ie mudding, sanding and painting 

Note: The sizes listed are defined as "Neck Size". This is the primary measurement of an access panel, and is the size of opening that would be cut into the wall / ceiling to install the panel.
