Our strips and panels come in 7 varieties, all rated to -40C:

• 2mm thickness, 100mm width (smooth finish) 
• 2mm thickness, 200mm width (smooth finish)
• 2mm thickness, 200mm width - Polar Grade (smooth finish)
• 2mm thickness, 200mm width - Heavy Duty (ribbed finish)
• 3mm thickness, 300mm width - Extra Heavy Duty (smooth finish)
• 1.5mm thickness, 1000mm width (smooth finish)
• 2.0mm thickness, 1000mm width (smooth finish)

Strip / panel plates and the mounting rail are made of high grade stainless steel.

Standard applications: the objective is usually environmental control (airborne particles like dust, insects, gas, as well as noise) or creating a physical barrier. For such applications, we usually recommend a more streamlined solution:

• Strip / panel length to be equal / slightly less than the door opening height
  
• 30% strip overlap (N/A for panels)
• Sufficient number of strips / panels to span across the door opening width (

Cold applications: the most critical function of the strips is to retain the cold air inside the cooler or freezer - ie, create an effectively airtight seal. To accomplish this, we usually recommend:

• Strip length to be 1 foot longer than the door opening height, to ensure strips cover the opening fully even if the rail is mounted above the doorframe
  
• Polar Grade strips
• 50% strip overlap
• Sufficient number of strips to span across the door opening width, plus an additional strip on each side to bond with the wall

Byson provides prebuilt PVC strip and panel kits for typical door sizes.

However, solutions are often custom made to fit any door opening.
