Installation Guidance
- Measure neck size of access panel
- Cut hole on wall +5mm larger than neck size
- Remove the door from the panel frame
- Fit the frame to the hole, and secure in place temporarily (eg using a clamp)
- Fix frame to the drywall easily by drilling drywall screws through the drywall directly into the aluminum panel frame. Recommended to install minimum 1 screw per side - predrilled holes not provided, screw locations can be tailored to site conditions. Screws not included
-
Replace the door on the frame
- For applications where panel is to match the surrounding wall, finish the door as with normal drywall finishing, ie mudding, sanding and painting
Note: The sizes listed are defined as "Neck Size". This is the primary measurement of an access panel, and is the size of opening that would be cut into the wall / ceiling to install the panel.
